MISSION AND CHARITY TOURS.

MISSIONARIES

The widest horizons of human need are the ordinary boundaries of Christian mission. Whether in formal or informal settings, education is a powerful way of sharing God's love.
Being faithful, according to the Bible, requires just and right relationships with God, other human beings and with the rest of creation. Likewise, we at Voyage Safaris call for sound stewardship of the earth and environmentally friendly lifestyles that preserve creation for the benefit of present and future generations
Here you will find any number of ways in which Voyage Safaris can connect you with children’s homes needy school, single mothers and widows who live in slums.
Welcoming the stranger and offering refuge to those seeking asylum are important traditions that assure all God's people of God's steadfast love. Through the programs in conjunction UNCHR, Voyage Safaris offer compassion, hospitality, discernment, stewardship, advocacy against injustice, and communion to some sojourning persons. The Voyage Safaris seeks to have an international mission branch to match the international reality of international missionary work.
We consider this a Christian imperative clearly stated in John Wesley's invitation: "If your heart is as my heart, give me your hand."

VOLUNTEERS
The Voyage Safaris recognizes the important role of volunteers in enabling the church in mission to the world. Volunteers are important resources in all kinds of mission institutions, in local outreach ministries, in our work with our mission partners, and in our cooperative efforts with the Mission Fields.

WOMEN AND CHILDREN
The combined barriers of racism, sexism, and class divisions become inseparable in the lives of an individual woman suffering oppression, a youth seeing no future, or a child struggling to survive. Confronting these barriers in ourselves, our institutions, and our world underlies the mission of Voyage Safaris team.

YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS
Youth and Young Adults are not just the hope of the church for tomorrow; they are the leadership of the church today. With energy, vision, enthusiasm and motivated by deep faith, youth and young adults actively participate in mission - transforming the world and themselves in the process. The Voyage Team is concerned with the contexts in which mission takes place today. These contexts may be local, geographical, cultural, ethnic, international, denominational, ecumenical, or any combination of these possibilities. Fully understanding these contexts helps the missionaries with logistics and connecting them with authenticated associates.

The Voyage Safaris analyses the context in which the church is called to mission and builds covenant relationships and mission partnerships to implement the goals of mission. In its evaluative work, it takes account of such factors as culture, religion, history, politics, economics, environment and demographics. It develops Christian ecumenical relations and explores dialogue with people of other faiths. As we move into the 21st Century, it is clear that mission volunteers have an increasingly important role to play.

The linking of mission volunteers with Local Mission projects will enable us to build bridges, develop relationships, and experience cross cultural enrichment as we reach out to each other in cooperative ministry. Education for mission will take on new meaning as we learn to serve and serve to learn. We will deliver resources and empower mission leadership in effective, meaningful ways as we develop new levels of understanding.
